Welcome

Thanks for checking out Crossview Student Ministries for junior high (7th-8th grade) and senior high (9th-12th grade); a ministry of Crossview Covenant Church in North Mankato, MN. There are lots of great things happening for you to get involved in! Student Ministries has a passion to see students discover a deeper relationship with God, develop a Spirit-led life, serve others faithfully, and send them out to draw others to Christ. There are adults and students who are waiting to build a great friendship with you!

Programs

Ignite Youth Gathering > Wednesdays from 6:30-8:45pm 
Junior and senior high students are welcome to come hang out from 6:00-7:30pm. You can work on your homework, or play ping pong, foosball, board games, Xbox 360 with Kinect, and get some goodies from the cafe! At 7:30pm we continue experiencing Christian community through worship, a challenging message, and then dig deeper through meaningful discussions with adult mentors. Here we encourage and challenge students to begin and grow in their relationship with Jesus. 

Foundation Classes (Formerly Confirmation) > Sundays from 9:00-10:00am
Foundation classes are a two year discipleship option for students to learn the basics of the Christian faith, and are split into two one-year classes: Rock Solid and Journey. Rock Solid focuses on the building blocks of faith and doctrine. The Journey class will explore deeper by journeying through the bible, early Church history, and even into Crossview's story. For more information on the Foundation Classes, CLICK HERE!

Student Ministries Calendar
There are many events that we participate in throughout the year, like Nerf Wars and retreats to Lake Beauty Bible Camp. Keep checking the online Calendar on our homepage to see what's coming up! Summer Trips 
Our summers bring about big trips for our students that takes months of fundraising and preparations, but is an amazing experience you don’t want to miss out on. The summer of 2012 trips include:

Leadership Opportunities 

Student Worship Team
Students are welcome to join the worship team that leads our Ignite’s worship experience. If you play an instrument, sing, enjoy creative arts, or have interest in running the projection/sound system; this is a great fit for you. Worship team practices are Sunday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm and Wednesdays before Ignite from 6:30-7:30pm in the Worship Center. If interested, fill out the Student Worship Team Application.
